FA Filming – Just Play Female Football Sessions

A few weeks ago I had an exciting call offering me the opportunity to be involved in some filming by the FA.

I run a Just Play session for female footballers, something that I have done for 9 years. It all started out as a few mums trying something new but has progressed and is a really positive session attracting women from all over the local area to get back in to football or to try a new sport in a safe and supportive environment.

The FA wanted to use my session to create some video resources for those wanting to set up new Just Play sessions, the resources will be accessible on the FA website.

The filming took place throughout the day and into the evening as the film crew came to one of my coaching sessions. There was a bit of role play but on the whole presenters were talking whilst we trained in the background.

It was a brilliant experience for all and a great advert for female football and I am excited to see the final cut!

If anyone would like to give the Monday night sessions a go please get in touch via esthercooper10@outlook.com.
