Our Under 11 Girls Red were invited to be the flag bearers at the Halbrooke Staduim to help wave Nottingham Forest Women to victory on 30th April.
After bringing home the League Cup the week before, spirits were high in Eastwood and a win would see NFFC Women win the league and go through to the play off final to secure a place in the Womens Championship. It was a warm and windy day as over 1,700 people packed into the stadium to cheer the reds on. Our girls enjoyed the atmosphere as they marched onto the pitch with their Forest flags held high to help the team and the crowd get into the mood for a Forest win.
The girls were made up when Forest won the game 3-0 and gained the league title. We can’t wait to support them in the play off final and hopefully cheer them into promotion.
