The girls take a trip to the City Ground helping to set a new record attendance for the FAWNL Northern Premier division.
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday Trent side as 3 of our girls teams travelled to West Bridgford to watch Nottingham Forest Women take on Derby County. Spirits were high as the game kicked off and our girls sang their hearts out supporting the reds. Forest were the better team for the majority of the game and we were all delighted when Forest Scored and took the lead with Charlotte Greengrass, this was followed by another 2 goals for Forest allowing them to take the 3 points.
The girls had a chance to meet, chat with and get autographs from all of the players after the game and all of them left with memories to last a very long time and huge smiles on their faces. We hope that this experience will inspire our girls to become the future generation of female footballers.
